About us
S:ta Clara has been serving Stockholm with traditional hand crafted Swedish food (husmanskost) and central European dishes since 1953.
The restaurant first opened at the corner of Klarna Södra Kyrkogata and Herkulesgatan. In the late 70s the restuarant moved to Regeringsgatan and then later in 2005 moved to its present location in The Old Town, where we have added Live-music to the menu!
We specialise in Swedish and German specialties such as our famous Schweinhaxe & the best Schnitzels i Stockholm! We also offer quite an extensive selection of craft and commerical beers, wines and non-alcoholic alternatives.
Top-quality Live music
Top-quality Live music entertainment can be enjoyed in our cosy medieval cellar from Tuesday-Saturday every week. On weekdays the music is very varied with styles like Jazz, Blues, Singer Songwriter, Trad, Swing, Pop, Rock etc. On Fridays and Saturdays we present our very popular Blues Jam´s with different hosts and housebands each time. First Sunday in every month we also present our popular QUIZ with actor Per Eggers (held in Swedish).
We have excellent chefs and fun, experienced bar and service staff & we want to make yours and your familys visit with us remembered!
